TOWN HOUSE
SOUTH KENSINGTON – LONDON

Renovation and reconfiguration of four separate apartments in a Victorian London town house to create a single family home.

Crucial to the replanning of the house was the need to bring natural light through from the south-facing rooms. The open rooms are physically united by a minimalist but grand staircase, which weaves around a wall pierced with Mondrian-like openings. The overall design language had to correspond to the clients informed mixture of contemporary and antique furnishings.
